Is Dakota Fanning a caring soul, or what?

The New Moon actress is taking time out from her busy schedule to support Mattel Children’s Hospital UCLA’s Holiday Card Art Program, which sells holiday cards created by sick children.

Proceeds from the sales go to the Child Life/Child Development Program, which provides specialists to young patients to help them express themselves creatively and ease the fear of lengthy hospitalization.

The cards can be ordered beginning today at www.uclahealth.org/mattel.
