VIDEO: Dance Group Beats Susan Boyle In Britain’s Got Talent Finale
Simon Cowell was wrong yet again!
At last night’s Britain’s Got Talent finale, worldwide singing sensation and judge favorite Susan Boyle was beaten by a dance group called Diversity. Last week on American Idol, Simon’s favorite Adam Lambert was beaten by underdog Kris Allen.
Despite Susan’s huge following and popularity, her performance of “I Dreamed A Dream” at the finals wasn’t enough to secure the title. Susan graciously accepted her second place title, saying, “The best people won,” and she wished them “all the best.”
Diversity, a 10-member group from Essex, England and London won the grand prize of $160,000 and the opportunity to perform at the Royal Variety Performance in front of the Queen.
Readers, have your say in the comments: Do you think Susan should have won?

“Boyle’s defeat echoes Adam Lambert’s on “American Idol.”
NO, it doesn’t. Boyle was not the best talent. The judges used the same tactic as they did in American Idol. They pimped a contestant so the public will hate that contestant.
All the judges have to do is use that tactic they did on Lambert. Favor one contestant and the public chooses the other contestant to win.
These reality shows are getting tiring. It is all mind games.

hm, i’ve never thought of it that way. i mean, i know reality shows are a total piece of sh*t, and there’s stuff going on behind the scenes we’ll never know about.
but aboutthe “pimping” certain people… even though the judges favored susan, i did too. i think she’s amazing. so, it all really depends on the people… and really, this dance group, i’ve never even heard of before. what the hell?
Best act definately won! Susan Boyle will still get the fame because Simon’s behind her. Diversity would have struggled if they hadn’t win.
Plus they’re amazing!
who cares who wins or loses? its the journey there that is important. not the actual result. imo anyway. i stop caring about all these contestants as soon as the season is over
No matter who won, one thing can’t be contested: Susan Boyle is one hot little piece of ass.

Agreed.
