Emmy-nominated comedy series Flight of the Conchords won't see its Season 2 debut on HBO until January 18. But U.S. viewers can catch a sneek-peek at the first new episode online, via Funny or Die.
Proving that New Zealand isn't all kiwis and hot runway models, the country's geeky folk comedy duo Flight of the Conchords—comprising Jemaine Clement, 34, and Bret McKenzie, 32—became a global sensation after forming 10 years ago and performing on both the stage and a successful BBC radio series.
The pair were awarded the Grammy for Best Comedy Album in 2007, for The Distant Future.
Their TV series debuted the same year, and follows the fictitious antics of Clement and McKenzie living in New York City and trying to become famous.
Catch the Season 2 premiere of the duo's acclaimed HBO series below. The episode kicks off with the band giving the axe to their clueless manager, Murray:
Or maybe it's Murray who has cut Jemaine and Bret out of his day runner.
Either way, expect a cavalcade of haplessness and hilarity from this pair of straight-faced connoisseurs of absurdity.
