With Election Day less than a week away, Hollywood has a message for you: Don't vote. Sorta.
A follow-up to this comedic gem, the "Hollywood Declares Themselves—Part 2" public-service announcement corrals an A-list assemblage—including Steven Spielberg, Tom Cruise, Will Smith, Leonardo DiCaprio, Justin Timberlake, Sacha Baron Cohen, Snoop Dogg, Harrison Ford, Shia LaBeouf and Scarlett Johansson—in a get-off-the-vote campaign aimed at young Americans.
They're kidding, of course; voting is every citizen's civic duty, and if you behave yourself at the polling station they may even give you a lollipop afterward.
Check out the video—which is jointly presented by Google, YouTube, Declare Yourself, MySpace, and probably the Rand Corporation, in conjunction with the reverse vampires:
Got it? Don't vote. But totally vote. Really. No kidding. Mostly.
Whew; democracy is confusing!
