VIDEO: Kate Gosselin Denies Her Daughter Water!

I can understand her not wanting to cave in to whiny children, but this seemed a little bit harsh.

There's a reason why people don't like her. It has nothing to do with jealousy, it has to do with her attitude that the world revolves around her. Her children are nothing more than commodities, props, and accessories. They are also her mealticket. She is pathetic.

Oh, big deal. This has to be the most pointless videoclip I have ever seen. The woman has 8 children under the age of 10; give her a break. I would like to see how "laid back" other mothers might appear on camera if placed in the same situation. As a side note, anyone who has ever seen the show knows that dramatic displays and Maddy often go hand-in-hand (although, in her defense, the small amount of attention these little act-outs garner is probably enough to enforce the behavior; I'll venture that having 7 siblings very close to your own age may do that).

"After this one, Judy will somehow manage to get drinks in here for you." What a cruel woman... ?

Little problem with that argument. Most other mothers have the common sense not to parade their children like they are side-show freaks in order to pad their wallets.

I think she wasnt playing into maddy game. It has more to do with a child trying to get attention from her mother than a mother denying her child something to drink. If you watch the show you know how maddy strives for attention. I think if anyone knows how to deal with maddy its kate.

That argument might hold water, so to speak, if the kid hadn't told her how thirsty she was before Kate asked for a water herself, took a sip, then denied her own child the same sustenance. She probably thought about gargling with the water and spit it in the kid's face, but then realized that even that would provide a little bit of refreshment for the poor kid.

Can you blame the kid for wanting attention. I can't even begin to imagine how those kids REALLY feel.
