VIDEO: Kelly Clarkson Covers Miley Cyrus’ “The Climb”

Apparently, Kelly Clarkson was inspired by her appearance with Miley Cyrus on VH1 Divas on Thursday.
Shortly after the show aired, the American Idol fave got together with bandmates Jill and Kate to bust out an impromptu acoustic version of Miley’s “The Climb.”

No, just no. I like Kelly Clarkson but don’t like the group. This is a song that should be sung by one person, singing about her life’s journey, and Miley, in spite of her age, sings it perfectly..
Kelly wipes the floor with Miley and gives her a swirlie with her vastly superior version of “The Climb.”

I thought it was very, very good. The harmonies were kind of boilerplate stuff, but damn good for 1 shot out of the box. Let’s hear a rapper sing like that.
Oh yea Jen, the 1 thing Miley does not do is warble. That is a vocal device used my producers to cover up the fact the some of these talentless “singers” have no intonation. Miley has very close to perfect pitch.

omg miley sucks. kelly did so much better. of course she did better, because miley cant sing at all. her voice is doctored up so freakin much you wouldnt believe it. live she sounds like a man!!!

i like miley’s better. and bytheway, i know some of you are tired of these comments but STOP the hating comments. she’s a freaking 17 year old, i feel like crying when i see all the hating comments. It just shows us what humans have become. God didnt create us to be like this.
You can barely even hear Kelly Clarkson, since she is singing the lower harmony. Her very talented backup singers, Jill and Kate, are singing lead and middle harmony, and the solo portions are all Jill. I don’t know of any other world renowned singer who would be so generous to play third fiddle to her backup singers after a full day at VH1 Diva and without resting to even take a shower, so her friends can get the attention they deserve. In addition, they all COMPLIMENTED Miley. Did you even listen to the what was being said. Geez. The girl can’t even give a compliment without people maligning her.
Forgot to mention that I’m not the same Jen who said Miley’s voice was warbling. I like Miley. Don’t like some of her fans, though.
