Perez Hilton shouldn't count on Kelly Clarkson to rush to his defense anytime soon.

The American Idol alum spoke to Virgin Radio following Sunday's Much Music Video Awards, and among the topics broached was the alleged assault perpetrated on Hilton by Black Eyed Peas general manager Polo Molina.

"I'm gonna be honest with you, he's gonna get a lot of flowers—not Perez, the manager," Clarkson laughs. "I do not think violence is the answer, but what did you expect? You can't say that much crap about people without having to say something." Check out video of the interview below:

According to Hilton, he was confronted by Molina and Black Eyed Peas frontman will.i.am for repeatedly calling BEP songstress "fugly" on his site. But then, Hilton says a lot of things.

Wow Noah bitter bitter!! lol I guess having your new single leap to # 1 and break your own record and have your album be # 1 for two weeks means nothing. You sound pathetic. You shouldn't let things like Kelly's weight affect you so much there are more important things in life. But hey she sure got you talking a lot haha good for you kell!

Come on guys what has weight got to do with singing? How is kelly goin to go when she keeps getting big hits all the time? MLWSWY went in at number 1. The 'Breakaway' albumn was a massive hit. My December wasnt that great but pardon her from wanting to an albumn that was hers to write. She gets slated for being a typical american idol contestant but when she does something different she still gets slated. And for the people slating her weight are just stupid cos all that matters to her is singing but more to the point she enjoys it. She has the greatest voice of all time and i respect her. So guys grow up and come back when you have hit puberty. Hope ya back in England soon kelly x
