VIDEO: Kris Allen Talks About His Upcoming Album

With his debut album set to drop on November 17, American Idol winner Kris Allen sat down to talk about the record and what he hoped to accomplish with it.
Allen says that he hopes that his debut will prove that he’s not just a golden throat, but a top-rate songwriter:
“That’s the thing that I wanted to do the most with this album, is show [the public] that I can write music.”
Not that he didn’t have a little bit of help in that department; Allen also reveals that he had nine co-writers for the record.
