Video: New ‘Star Trek’ Trailer in Erotic Warp Speed
A new trailer for the upcoming Star Trek film premiered yesterday during screenings of the new James Bond flick Quantum of Solace. Prepare for a sexy revamp of the decades-old franchise.
Along with the hot new stars (such as Chris Pine as James T. Kirk, Zachary Quinto as Mr. Spock, and Zoe Saldana as Lt. Uhura), the flick boldly goes where no Star Trek version has gone before. The new version has car chases, more tension than ever and—gasp!—a sex scene between Kirk and Uhura.
The upcoming flick also brings a new attitude toward the cherished characters.
“I definitely wanted to bring that kind of Harrison Ford humor to Kirk,” says Pine.

Star Trek, directed by J.J. Abrams (who executive-produced Alias and Lost), is slated for a May 8, 2009 U.S. release.
