How Blue Ivy Learned Mom Beyonce’s ‘Single Ladies’ Dance

Like mother, like daughter!

Blue Ivy Carter has learned mom Beyonce Knowles’ famous Single Ladies dance — but not the way you might have thought.

In an interview with Super Bowl Live, the Knowles — who rocked the Super Bowl Halftime Show on Sunday — revealed her daughter, who just celebrated her first birthday, picked up the dance by watching a Chipmunks movie.

“The song was on the Chipmunks series and all of the kids are like, ‘Oh, that’s the Chipmunk song!’… My daughter actually does [the famous hand movement] and sings, ‘Uh oh’.”

She also revealed that little Blue is just starting to learn how to talk.

“She’s starting to talk. It’s just such a beautiful time in my life to have a child and every day see something new and see her learn something new,” she said.

Knowles and her husband, rapper Jay-Z, welcomed Blue Ivy on January 7, 2012.

She recently announced her first worldwide tour, the Mrs. Carter Show, which kicks off in April in Serbia. For full details, click here.
