Bobbi Kristina Brown Remembers Mom Whitney Houston’s Legacy At Billboard Music Awards (VIDEO)
“I really want to say thank you to everyone who supported us through it all,” she said on stage, after being reduced to tears during Jordin Sparks’ cover of “I Will Always Love You.” “Not just from when it was good but when it was bad, too. Thank you for showing that much love, because she deserved it.”
“I’m just blessed to have been in such an incredible woman’s life,” she added. “There will never be another one, ever.”
Whitney Houston died tragically after she accidentally drowned in the bathtub inside her Beverly Hilton Hotel room, on Feb. 11. In the immediate aftermath of Whitney’s death, Bobbi Kristina, 19, was reportedly rushed to the hospital twice after suffering a “complete breakdown,” according to sources.
However, on Sunday, Bobbi Kristina looked as composed as she could be on stage, where she stood by Patricia Houston, Whitney’s manager and sister-in-law.
Whitney, who was 48 at the time of her death, was being honored with the Millennium Award, in a tribute that featured performances by her Sparkle co-star Jordin Sparks and John Legend.
