Revenge’s Christa B. Allen just turned the big 21 — but why is she so relieved to finally mark the milestone?

The actress, who plays troubled rich girl Charlotte Grayson on the hit ABC show, revealed a little secret to Celebuzz about her growing guilty conscience.

“I feel like there is this tremendous weight lifted off my shoulders because I’ll tell you something kind of naughty — and kids don’t follow in my footsteps — but I did go out before I was 21,” Allen told Celebuzz at the Trevor Live event in West Hollywood on Sunday. “You know, with my friends and with the cast at different events that were held at venues which you were only supposed to be 21.

“But I walked around the whole night with this guilt that I was doing something naughty. So it’s nice to finally feel like I’m not breaking the rules!” she said with a laugh.

Allen, who turned 21 on Nov. 11, celebrated with a black-and-white themed rooftop bash at the Petit Ermitage hotel in West Hollywood the night before the big day with family, friends and co-stars, including Gabriel Mann and Ashley Madekwe, according to Us Weekly.

So what do you get the girl who has everything on and off screen?

Forget jewelry, her favorite gift is something furry and cuddly.

“I got the most amazing gift. Someone got me a teddy bear that’s basically made out of rabbit fur, and it’s the softest most wonderful thing to cuddle me to sleep every night,” gushed the actress.

Birthdays aside, Allen wanted last Sunday night to be about the Trevor Project: “I came out to support because I feel like Hollywood has one of the most powerful voices,” she said.

“There are a lot of people here tonight with really strong voices like Katy Perry.”

Perry performed at the annual holiday musical variety show that benefits the LGBTQ youth organization and provides crisis intervention and suicide prevention to questioning teens.

Revenge is on a brief hiatus after Sunday’s winter finale. In the meantime, be sure to watch Allen’s full interview, above, for more big birthday details.
