Jesse And The Rippers Performed On ‘Jimmy Fallon,’ Then Uncle Jesse Kissed Aunt Becky

Kelly Lynch / July 20, 2013

Because Jimmy Fallon and I are essentially the same person, he put together a reunion that set my nostalgic heart ablaze.

Last night, Jesse Katsopolos (John Stamos) and his band, Jesse and The Rippers performed a medley of their greatest hits on Late Night With Jimmy Fallon.  The set was built in the likeness of The Smash Club, a venue Jesse inherited and rebuilt on Full House.

“Their single, ‘Forever,’ became a #1 hit in Japan,” a giddy Fallon said while introducing the band.

And yes, Stamos did break out Jesse’s mullet and a hip leather vest.

And then he said, “Have Mercy.”

Aaand then the band gathered round one mic, followed by a certain theme song to take us home.

Danny Tanner, was that you in the audience?

Then Aunt Becky came on stage to kiss Uncle Jesse!

OhMyGod it was amazing.
