Shirtless Jon Hamm shoots with Jessica Pare for season six.
Ever since its Season Six premiere date was announced, Mad Men fans have been biting at the bit for another dose of the Emmy Award-winning series.

The show’s creator Matthew Weiner has continued to be tight-lipped about his critically acclaimed AMC drama, and even some of its stars are in the dark about what to expect from the penultimate season.

“I can tell you that whatever you hear is what I hear,” Teyonah Parris told Celebuzz on the red carpet at Sunday’s 2013 Screen Actors Guild Awards.

“I have no clue,” continued the actress, , who plays Don Draper’s secretary Dawn Chambers, the first African American employee of Sterling Cooper Draper Pryce. “I don’t even know if Don will be back this season. I guess we’ll just have to wait and see.”

But Parris — resplendent in a one-shouldered Monique Lhuillier gown adorned with Ben Amun gems — is keeping her fingers crossed for some compelling storylines.

“Let’s hope for some interesting character development for Dawn,” she said with a smile. “We can hope.”

Mad Men will return with season six in a two-hour premiere on April 7.
