The CW has planted a five-minute preview of the first episode of the new season of Gossip Girl online. And it's all about the beach!

Exciting, no?

But let's be real. Behind the scenes, Chace Crawford and Ed Westwick are sharing a beach towel and a nice Chablis and Penn Badgley is all over Blake Lively.

And Leighton Meester? She's just the odd gossip girl out.
