selena isn’t a good singer. at all. she’s just ok but not good enough to have a recording contract. she only got one because she’s already on disney as it is. she sounded horrible. her cd is very very very touched up. it doesn’t sound like her at all.

she cant hit the high notes, she doesnt sing in the chours at ‘you’
idk how she got a record deal, shes not a very good singer

calm down, you don’t know nothing about me and still judge me…..I’m not saying that I’m the best singer in the world cuz Adam Lambert is xD but definetly if I’d sing like Selena I’m practicing at first before getting on stage…

She not the best singer but she can sing. remember its only her 1st single so shes not got a lot of experience and she will get better. dont judge too soon

I thought it was a good performance for a first. At least she sang instead of taking the easy way out, lip syncing. Come on guys. She was obviously nervous. Who wouldn’t be? It was her first televised performance.

it is her first performance. everbody gets better over time. still though miley and demi sang better during their first performances. i still love selena but i wasnt impressed. my opinion

This is not a very good performance by Selena. She seems unsure and she doesn’t hit the high notes. This is not her own music either, just a bunch of mix songs.

She can sing, she just need more experiance and learn how to write her own songs. The one she wrote by herself is actually one of the best on the album!

I like Selena as much as the next person. She is probably one of my favorite Disney channel stars but the truth is; Selena can’t sing. Really listen to her. I don’t understand why people consider this to be a good voice. It’s the same thing with so many of the stars off of Disney channel that release albums. For example Hilary Duff is a platinum selling artist but she can’t sing. The level of music over the years has gone down tremendously. Why someone like Selena can sell thousands of albums while a talented singer is struggling to pay the bills just doesn’t make any sense. I like Selena, I really do but seriously. She can’t sing.
