VIDEO: Taylor Swift Mocks Joe Jonas and Kanye In Opening SNL Skit
We totally knew Taylor Swift was gonna mention Kanye West during her stint on SNL last night, but we were totally thrown off by the Joe Jonas thing! It’s been like a year, right?
Anyways, in her opening monologue song, the 20-year-old addressed a lot of the tabloid rumors that she’s involved in.
She sang,
““I like writing songs about douchebags who cheat on me but I’m not gonna say that in my monologue…..You might think I’d bring up Joe [Jonas], that guy who broke up with me on the phone, but I’m not gonna mention him in my monologue. Hey Joe, I’m doing real well. Tonight, I’m hosting SNL but I’m not gonna brag about that in my monologue. La la la. Ha ha ha. La la la.”
And about Taylor Lautner?
“And if you’re wondering if I might be dating the werewolf from Twilight. Hey Taylor [Lautner]! (blows kiss, winks) But I’m not gonna comment on that in my monologue.”
Finally, she mentioned the Kanye thing, saying
“You might be expecting me to say something bad about Kanye [West] and how he ran up on stage and ruined my VMA monologue. But there’s nothing more to say cuz everything’s okay. I’ve got security lining the stage. It’s my SNL monologue.”

She only mentioned Joe because she knew people would laugh at it. I thought it was a pretty funny and entertaining song.
See? She brought up Taylor L during the monologue for the attention. I stand by my opinion that it’s all for publicity! She knew it would make a buzz and it did. It’s publicity for both of them!
she didn’t write the song, dipsh*ts. the snl writers did. so obviously they brought up joe jonas because that and kanye are all that make taylor relevant to them.

OMJ! I love the person that wrote this! Its exaclty how I feel! Taylor needs to get over herself because it was her that hung up and Joe didnt like her anymore! You don’t stay with someone you dont like anymore. I mean dang all of her songs about guys breaking up with her! Doesn’t that say something?? To me it does. She’s probably some obsessive girlfriend. Everyone calm down, this was for SNL not for a freaking grammy. She only sang it for sh*ts and giggles, i personally thought it was hilarious and she knew people would laugh, not cause she isn’t over it.
