As predicted, Republican vice presidential nominee Sarah Palin made a brief appearance on this weekend's edition of Saturday Night Live—sort of.
Emmy-snagging 30 Rock creator Tina Fey returned to her old stomping grounds once again on Saturday to reprise her highly popular characterization of everybody's favorite lipstick-adorned pit bull, this time skewering Palin's interview with CBS news anchor Katie Couric, with Amy Poehler portraying the super-perky talking head.
Among the subjects: Palin's self-proclaimed expertise on foreign relations due to her home state Alaska's proximity to Russia:
"Every morning, when Alaskans wake up, one of the first things they do, is look outside to see if there are any Russians hanging around. And if there are, you gotta go up to them and ask, 'What are you doing here?' and if they can't give you a good reason, it's our responsibility to say, you know, 'Shoo! Get back over there!'"

Now that's something that even Pam Anderson wouldn't say, "Suck it!" to. And that's a very rare occurrence indeed.
