Whereabouts: McConaughey and Camila Do SXSW

If the couple that plays together stays together, then Matthew McConaughey and Camila Alves have it made.

Aside from fun activities like placenta planting and Carnival in Brazil, the new parents hit up Austin, TX for the annual South By Southwest festival.

In town to promote artists on his J.K. Livin record label (pictured above with his reggae singer Mishka), Matthew showed to the Carrera Cafe to pick up some shades with his baby—the furry one.

"His dog BJ tagged along everywhere," a festival-goer tells Celebuzz, "he's so well behaved and just adorable."

Perhaps the same could be said for McCounaughey and Alves' little boy Levi, but the little one was nowhere in sight.

Elsewhere, at Perez Hilton's bash sponsored by Dell, the likes of Kanye West and Amber Rose rolled in, performing an impromptu six-song set after his Levis/Fader Magazine performance.

• Ben Harper hosted a private concert at Austin's Stubbs, where he covered Queen and David Bowie's "Under Pressure," while wife Laura Dern looked on.
  
• Schwayze, Cisco Adler's band, threw back a few Grey Goose L'Orange cocktails before their SXSW show.
• Anne Hathaway caught a performance of "Puppet Up," a Jim Henson Company production at Hollywood's The Avalon, bringing along some gal pals for the act (most certainly not for kids).
• Brian Austin Green at LAX, awaiting a flight to New York, pounding away on his PDA and sporting a dark look head-to-toe.
• Back in New York City, in-demand movie costumer and designer Patricia Field attending a separate bash for Carrera's retro sunglasses line, with a performance for Debbie Harry.
