Maybe Whitney Port should consider expanding her budding fashion empire into a line for plus-size women. Goodness knows, it appears from this picture that everything else about her appears to be expanding.

The star of The City had her fans wondering if she’s been living on a steady diet of ice cream and butter sticks lately when she published the above picture on her official Web site today. Don’t be alarmed, though; the dramatic weight gain is just the result of modern technology at its finest. Port explains,

“Soooo I just discovered the FatBooth app on my friend’s iPhone and let’s just say he had to fight to get his phone back from me haha. I could not stop laughing!!! iPhone has the craziest apps, I love it. Seriously every time I look at this photo I giggle uncontrollably!”

The picture had us giggling pretty heartily ourselves, Whitney. It’s just a shame that weight loss isn’t as easy as turning off an iPhone app in real life. Sigh; damn you, slow metabolism…
