Whitney Port: Over ‘The Hills’ and Through NYC

MTV has green-lit a long rumored Hills spin-off focusing on Lauren Conrad‘s buddy Whitney Port and her adventures in New York City.
Conrad will be working for woodsy American Express spokeswoman and fashion designer Diane Von Furstenberg.
Port’s co-star will be her current boyfriend Jay Lyon. Here they are dining at Extra Virgin in NYC.
Filming has already started on Port’s show, so this luncheon could be on a cable channel near you in the foreseeable future.
Hmmm. Any chance incredibly languid scenes with boring dialogue at outdoor cafes will be a staple of Port’s show, just like they are on The Hills?
I just don’t see it working. the only reason Whitney was ever on the Hills was because she worked with Lauren.
