Whitney Port's New Reality

Her day job at the fashion PR firm People's Revolution is taking Whitney Port to the other side of the country and will be the storyline that launches her daily life into a new television reality series!

The star of The Hills will be mixing and mingling with a NYC-based group of new friends, including socialite Olivia Palermo.

If the producers are wise, Port will be faced with lots of jack-in-the-boxes, surprise birthday parties and unexpected telephone calls, giving plenty of opportunity to display her trademark look of shock.

MTV has not officially confirmed the spinoff, yet Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt are already concocting a scheme to worm their way into episode two.

UPDATE: Never one to hold a grudge (yeah, right!), Lauren is going completely company line in her response to her compadre's step up in the fashion business and her new spinoff, telling Us magazine, "I think Whitney will do really well with it." Yup, now watch for a "very special episode" of Port's show, wherein she tries to explain to her boss why all of the People's Revolution duds have slashes in them.
