Who Is Michaela Wallace? She’s Justin Bieber’s ‘Girlfriend’
Michaela Wallace dove into the national music scene last week with a cannonball splash in the form of her search-ready hit “Justin Bieber’s Girlfriend,” which has already amassed nearly a half-million views on Youtube.
Celebuzz spoke with the infectious 14-year-old newcomer about her humble beginnings as a musician and where “Beliebing” has gotten her thus far. “I love Justin Bieber because he has great music that I can relate to, and it doesn’t hurt that he’s really hot!” she shared.

CELEBUZZ: How long have you been singing/writing music/playing instruments?
WALLACE: I have been singing as long as I can remember. Music has always been a passion of mine and part of my life. In church, at school or just on a regular day when I disappear into my room for some one-on-one time with my guitar. I have been playing the piano since I seven years old and playing the guitar since I was ten. The first song I taught myself to play on the guitar was Taylor Swift’s “Our Song”. I have been writing music off and on for the past year or so, but got serious about it in June when Deanna Harper, a songwriter in Nashville, contacted me after I posted some videos playing and singing. I co-wrote three songs on my EP, “Justin Bieber’s Girlfriend,” my duet with Secrets In Stereo “Don’t Make A Sound” and “Boys Boys Boys”. The fourth song on my EP is “Again” by Secrets In Stereo, and I just recorded my own version of it.
Do you have any special memories from a Justin Bieber concert that you’ve attended?
Yes! Before the concert in Nashville, I got to go backstage and play Xbox Kinect with Justin. The concert was AWESOME! It really was a night I’ll never forget.
Have you been contacted by “Team Bieber” about your song?
Not yet, but it would be really crazy if I did!
What are your plans for the future? The Internet wants to know!
I don’t really have any plans right now, but I look forward to writing and recording more music and who knows where it will take me!
