Actually they contacted Nicholas Sparks to write the screenplay first. Then he wrote the book. So the book was made around the movie.Just an FYI

omg i think i just died ….this movie sucked the book was awsome ..i dont know why they put slutty cyrus in this movie ..it totally killed the movie as well as me..:$
I really hate NIcholas Sparks’ books. They’re always really unnecessarily sad, and he’s just trying way too hard to make sob stories. Like The Notebook? It sucked. The movie was awesome though. Completely different than the book, and thank god. I’m guessing the same will be true with the Last Song. I read the book, and was NOT impressed. But I’ll probably like the movie.

Whats with Miley pouting through the whole movie. She can’t pull on off to save herself, she looked like she was trying to hold in a poo the whole time.
