Skateboard in tow, Zac Efron flew back to L.A. after last week's New York trip. Now he can resume his busy lifestyle.

Vanessa Hudgens did her girlfriend duty by picking up Zac on the curb at LAX.

Meanwhile, did he raid Sephora while he was in the Big Apple? Wanting to maintain a tan for summer is one thing, but you're looking prettier than Vanessa, Zac.

It also looks like there's a DVD copy of Paul Newman-Tom Cruise flick The Color Of Money sticking out of Zac's backpack. Kids go from prom king to pool hustler so fast these days.
