Zac Efron Explains Stripper Shenanigans on ‘Jimmy Kimmel’ (VIDEO)
Zac Efron boldly went where few stars of his age or genre would on Wednesday, admitting on Jimmy Kimmel Live that he did indeed partake in a few quality hours at a New York City strip club.
In a Page Six report that had our commenters in a tizzy on Wednesday, Efron reportedly dropped $2,000 on strippers and vodka with his High School Musical pal Corbin Bleu. Kimmel’s first question was about the report, and Efron calmly and confidently copped to his Flashdancer’s escapade. After a “yes, yes I was” answer to Kimmel’s inquisition about whether he actually was there, Efron joked about his preconceived notion of what a strip club would be like.
I had this image of what it would be like… I’ve heard a lot about these places, mostly from rap music. They’re supposed to be beautiful. I envisioned myself on a couch with stunner shades and T-Pain and Usher, and it just wasn’t like that. Those guys weren’t there.
Efron then joked that he didn’t spend $2,000 as reported, kidding that it was actually $6,000. He then continued to say that the most challenging part of his night out was letting girlfriend Vanessa Hudgens know what he was up to.
The hardest part is calling your girlfriend before. It’s like, how do you even start that conversation?
Ultimately though, Hudgens trusted Zac and, according to Efron, “was fine with it.”

He got Vanessa’s permission to go and when he went he didnt even do anything. He also said when he was there he was on the phone with Vanessa the whole time.
So not only did Vanessa know about it BEFORE, but she was talking to him while he was there.

he called vanessa beforehand” wow zac’s so rare sometimes … for some reason I think he’s very manipulator with vanessa …whatever my point is that he put words in vanessa’s mouth and when he called her and tell his little adventure in the strip club ”FIRST TIME” (boys stuff )and she OBVIOUSLY forgive him ..it’s ok he has courage and looks like the relationship is based on trust and love blah blah blah but did he know how she felt .. superficially but what about the feelings

I think he is lying what girl would you know would say that it was ok he got busted and now he is trying to do damage control Zac Efron is a liar and I feel sorry for Vanessa he even thinks it is funny and it is not he just embarassed her to the world and now she is stuck saying she is ok with it. How many times does he have to embarass her with these women. I bet he is the one who leaked her nudes to the press it was him she sent it to I know he is the only boyfriend she has had but its time to break up and find a guy who will respect her.

If he would have been the one who posted those photos of her wouldn’t have she broken up with him???. Boys are like that.They say sh*t like that to mess around. Hes just messing around. I like the fact that hes growing up from Disney.

He is a grown man and Vanessa is a grown woman. If he wants to experience things like this he has every right to. A relationship between adults is not supposed to be a restrictive fantasyland like it is when you are in High School. People who are not confident and secure drag each other down and destroy bonds that are meant to last. I think the problem with most of the people posting on this is that they are too young to have a true idea about relationships. If he and his mate agreed to his exploration it is none of your business, period. He is not married to her, and even if he were married, he is certainly not owned, he has a right to make the decision to watch women dance. If a man can not go to a club, then what is he allowed to do in your minds? Can he watch R rated movies when his significant other is not around? Can he have lunch in a pub? Can he go to a bar with friends? Can he go to a rock concert? Can he do press tours and red carpet events where 3,000 women are screaming his name and offering hotel keys? I think that if Vanessa was as paranoid and judgmental as most of you she would have lost Zac years ago.

Frankly, I don’t see what the problem is, and can’t say it would bother me if my boyfriend mentioned that he was going to a strip club (yes, it’s happened, and no, it wasn’t a big deal). So I don’t think Zac was lying about informing his girlfriend, and she looks like she has sense enough to know that just going to a strip club is not a huge deal.

I totally agree with you. Zac can do what ever he wants to do because Vanessa doesn’t own him and if this situation was switched, Zac would be okay with Vanessa going. They don’t own eachother. PLus they are grown adults.

I completely agree with you. All these immature little girls commenting on here need to remember that Zac and Vanessa are grown-ups; they’ll do as they please and just because they started out with Disney does not mean they need to be rainbows and gumdrops for the rest of their careers. Men go to strip clubs, women go to strip clubs, welcome to adulthood. At least he had the decency of calling her beforehand and why should she have a problem with it? As long as he looks but doesn’t touch, it’s all good. It’s fun to let loose and do stuff like this once in a while, but the stupid little 12 yr olds who think they have a monopoly on Zac and Vanessa are all butthurt because they’re being adults. Get over yourselves and grow up.
