Zac Efron Gives Vanessa Hudgens a Treasure Chest
What do you get a girl (High School Musical starlet Vanessa Hudgens, 20) who just purchased a $3 million home?
Obviously, she can afford any household furnishings she needs.
But how about a $50,000 vintage Louis Vuitton steamer trunk?
Shouldn’t that be considered a hope chest?
“Vanessa loves Louis Vuitton, but she wouldn’t spend the money for it,” a source says. “To her, it is a piece of art.” Well, she did just spend three mil on a hacienda.
Star reports that Hudgens’ boyfriend and High School Musical 3: Senior Year co-star Zac Efron, 21, purchased the weighty trinket as a housewarming gift for her.
Efron (who is set to get Footloose soon) and Hudgens have been an item since 2006 when they began starring together in the blockbuster Disney series of tween musicals.
The couple recently took Australia by storm by attending multiple premieres of their movie, and they’re apparently some of the richest young people around.
Vanessa’s new Studio City, California, home is 5,200 square feet, complete with six bedrooms and six-and-a-half bathrooms. She should be able to fit that trunk in there somewhere.
The kicker is that Hudgens was actually stumped about what to get Efron for his recent 21st birthday.
For his birthday, she sends him naked pictures that get leaked onto the internet…. For her birthday, he gets her… a trunk?
That’s like when your parents give you an xBox for Christmas and you give them “coupons” for “1 free taking out of the garbage.” Lame.
