Despite his recent desire to get footloose and clothing-free, Zac Efron won't be whooping it up when he hits the big 2-1 on Saturday.
USA Today reports that Hudgie Bear's main squeeze will be ringing in the occasion with a low-key gathering.
"It's going to be just a really close dinner with close friends and family at a pretty cool place that I've never been to," reveals Thomas Lewis, Efron's close friend and co-star of the upcoming Efron flick 17 Again.
"He's not a real party guy or club guy," confirms Bart Johnson, who plays Efron's High School Musical dad. "He's really serious about his work. A lot of little kids are watching every thing he does and he considers that."
Smart move, Zac; you don't need the paps capturing you in a less-than-lucid moment. Besides, while a quiet dinner with family and friends might not be the most exciting way to turn 21, it sure beats a lot of ways that you could spend your birthday.
