Recently, the fellas from the Backstreet Boys (Nick Carter, AJ McLean, Howie Dorough and Brian Litrell) who were one of the reigning boy bands from the late 1990s and early 2000s, met up with Niall Horan, who is currently part of mega-boy group One Direction. Sharing the photo on BSB’s Twitter, we’re not exactly sure why these guys were meeting up, but we’re not complaining!
Could there be a collaboration between BSB and 1D in the works?!
That remains to be seen, but BSB did tour with New Kids on the Block last summer, while One Direction opened for Big Time Rush earlier this year.
We talked to 1D about a possible BTR collaboration, and Louis Tomlinson said, “I don’t see why not. They’re on the same label as us, so yeah, why not?” He then joked that the song would be “more of a hip-hop, R&B rap style mash-up.”
Who wouldn’t love a good boy band collabo?!
