In the original fairy tale, Snow White is destined to be with the Prince but as Stewart, 22, herself told Celebuzz, this film was an opportunity to take what you think you know– along with the idea of destiny– and turn it upside-down.
But it was actually Chris Hemsworth who made the story into a bit of a love triangle:
Writer Evan Daugherty confessed that once Hemsworth, 28, was cast, they rewrote part of the script:
“It may be more resonate for a modern audience to cast a younger Huntsman so you could develop a bit of a romance and a bit of a tension between Snow White and the Huntsman.”
“The Huntsman was a damaged soul, and we thought if Snow White is a damaged soul…they can each give a part of their soul to the other,” producer Palak Patel revealed to us at the world premiere in London.
See what stars Kristen Stewart and Sam Claflin had to say about the love triangle aspect in the video above!
