Celebuzz was first to break the news of Dina Lohan‘s new gig as mentor in the currently unsold documentary series DramaMamas, and now we have a first hand look at the famous momager taking the stage.
In the exclusive photos, Dina — the mother of Mean Girls star Lindsay Lohan — is seen joining Broadway hopefuls on stage during rehearsal.
According to the series’ creator Linda Sawyer, the 49-year-old mom-of-four even received a standing ovation.
“After Dina Lohan met with the moms, she joined the kids on stage to perform the dance call with our Broadway hopefuls — and she was sensational,” she said. “The theatre was on their feet with applause and shouts of ‘Bravo.'”
DramaMamas will chronicle the real-life journey of launching a Broadway-bound musical from “page to stage,” while showcasing the incredible talents of young performers and taking the audience behind the scenes of The White Plains Performing Arts Center’s theatre.
“There is nothing more important to me than a parent standing behind their child and helping them fulfill their dreams,” Lohan recently told Celebuzz.
DramaMamas‘ pilot is currently being shopped to multiple networks, but the word is still out on where the show will find a home.
As for Dina’s eldest daughter Lindsay, the 25-year-old is currently hard at work filming the new Elizabeth Taylor biopic, Liz & Dick. Check out the latest production news in the video, below.
