It’s Brad Pitt — like you have never seen him before.

With long and flowing blonde locks, the then 27-year-old aspiring actor took in the 1991 Super Bowl between the Buffalo Bills and New York Giants at the Calabasas, Calif., apartment of 90210 alum Jason Priestley.Pitt and pals were snapped taking in the season’s biggest game the way most of us do: with a beer.

Celebuzz has exclusively obtained the never-before-released photograph that came from a friend’s private album.

The star — who would go on to become a four-time Academy Award nominee — was dressed down for the occasion, with ripped jeans and a plaid shirt.

“This photo was taken shortly before both Jason and Brad became Hollywood stars,” said oneguest at the party.

“It was not a plush apartment and it was a modest affair, but we had an awesome time watching the game.”

Who won that Super Bowl?

The Giants defeated the Bills 20–19, winning their second ever Super Bowl; it remains the only Super Bowl decided by one point.

New York has since gone on to win two more Championships since — in 2007 and 2011.

Likewise, Priestly, 42, and Pitt, 48, have enjoyed remarkable success in Tinseltown since: Indeed, less than twelve months after the actors were photographed together, Pitt landed the role that would attract wider attention for a role that would define him as a sex symbol — Thelma & Louise.

“This was Brad and Jason’s group of friends,” the guest told Celebuzz.

“We’d hang out together, go to bars and club around Los Angeles. Most were actors and others behind-the-scenes people, all at the beginning of a Hollywood journey.”

“I think that’s the irony here: within a couple years, both of them would have to run from crowds and this was their Super Bowl party, without the Hollywood hoopla.”

That same year Pitt filmed a commercial for Levi’s 501. You can watch that video from YouTube, below.
