The network definitely knows how to market to its young audience.
What can you expect from The CW’s new dramas?
Starring Amell, Arrow follows Oliver Queen, a playboy billionaire who gets stranded on a deserted island. Once rescued, Oliver uses his newfound skills to help combat crime. Think of him as a PG version of Christian Grey. Arrow premieres Wednesday, Oct. 1o at 8 PM, before Supernatural.
As for the other CW dramas, Kristin Kreuk returns to The CW, alongside Jay Ryan, to headline the network’s Beauty and the Beast reboot. Kreuk will play a cop while Ryan stars as a mysterious man — with haunting eyes — named Vincent Koslow. Beauty and the Beast premieres Thursday, Oct. 11 at 9 PM, after The CW’s number one drama, The Vampire Diaries.
Meanwhile, Meryl Streep’s daughter Mamie Gummer shows off her lighthearted humorous side in the new medical drama Emily Owens, M.D. Gummer plays the titular character as she navigates life and love while working at a hospital. Think of her as a PG version of Meredith Grey. Emily Owens, M.D. premieres Tuesday, Oct. 16 at 9 PM, after Hart of Dixie.
