“If I could, I would wear the clothes from the photo shoot every day,” says the 34-year-old, who revealed that she was was inspired by the “timeless nostalgia” of the ’60s. “I wish I lived in that era — the women just looked so classy and beautiful.”
Rossi even designed her collection with that era in mind. But how?
“Nowadays we’re all so busy and rushed, but we should still look fabulous when we’re traveling,” says Rossi, who sports oversized black sunglasses, a head-scarf, and a curve-hugging black sheath dress in the ad campaign. “Back then it was just really fun to be a lady.”
As such, the bombshell named her latest line The Pink Collection because of the massive fan response she received when she donned a pink satchel on Housewives; it inspired her to make an entire pink-themed line, she says.
The collection will be sold exclusively on her website, GretchenChristine.com, starting Monday, Sept. 17 — just in time for Breast Cancer Awareness Month in October. Part of the proceeds from sales will be donated to the Breast Cancer Charities of America.
Rossi’s Pink Collection not only offers her fans handbags, but it also delves into the world of luggage and accessories. The collection includes a three-piece overnight set, complete with a tote, duffle and satchel ranging from $25 to $299.
She also designed an iPad case, wallet, passport case, iPhone case and wristlet.
