The 34-year-old added “commercial director” to his already-impressive resume when he got behind the camera for shoe label Stuart Weitzman’s latest ad campaign.
The mini-movie, titled Walking After Midnight, stars model Petra Nemcova as she struts through New York City’s famous hotspots in white Swarovski crystal-studded pumps and very little else.
“In a way the characters became the shoes and the city,” writes Franco, who took inspiration for this project from the 1989 film Mondo New York.
However, this isn’t the first time Franco has been behind the camera.
Known for his multi-tasking ways, Franco has become one of the entertainment industry’s biggest moonlighting actors during recent years.
Aside from starring in critically-acclaimed films such as 127 Hours and Milk, the Oscar nominee has also written short stories, painted and taught a college course in between film projects.
His latest work with Stuart Weitzman is just one of the many jobs that Franco has assumed.
