These days, the 25-year-old is keeping busy with a new role: being a mother to new son Camden.
While the reality TV bug is no doubt in Cavallari’s blood, don’t expect her son to star in a series of his own any time soon, or at all.
“I’d try to steer him in another direction,” Cavallari told Life & Style.
“It can really mess up relationships and friendships . . . you have to have a thick skin and I wouldn’t want him to,” she added.
What else did the new mom say about her son’s non-reality TV future?
Cavallari, who welcomed her firstborn with fiancé Jay Cutler on Aug. 8, got her start on Laguna Beach some eight years ago and as fans and viewers know, cameras rarely missed a moment of action.
“It put me through a lot of difficult times, and I wouldn’t want to see Camden go through some of the similar things. There are a lot of great things that come from it and then also a lot of crap that you get from it as well,” Cavallari added.
Still, the double-edged sword that is reality TV has not been far from Cavallari’s reach.
In the last two years, the blonde beauty appeared as herself on a number of shows, including RuPaul’s Drag Race, America’s Next Top Model and most recently, as a guest judge on Cupcake Wars. In 2011, Cavallari also starred in Season 13 of Dancing With the Stars, but was eliminated after only three weeks of competing.
