Billy Dee Williams is set to guest on ABC’s Modern Family. Williams, known for playing Lando Calrissian in The Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi, will appear in the comedy’s New Year’s Eve episode. He’ll meet Jay (Ed O’Neill) at a card game in Palm Springs where the family is celebrating the holiday. Frequent guest star Nathan Lane will also reprise his role as Pepper this season. “Honey Boo Boo” has officially made it. The pint-sized reality star Alana Mitchell is getting the comic book treatment. Writer and artist Michael Troy documents her “15 minutes” of fame from Toddlers and Tiaras to Here Comes Honey Boo Boo. 15 Minutes: Honey Boo Boo will be released on Wednesday. Kyle MacLachlan, most recently seen on CBS’ Made in Jersey, has been tapped to guest on The Good Wife. Minimal details are known regarding his role on the drama, but his character and Alan Cumming’s Eli Gold will reportedly interact. [EW]

The stars and creators of Lincoln are sitting down withOprah Winfrey on an upcoming episode of Oprah’s Next Chapter. Academy Award winners Steven Spielberg, Daniel Day-Lewis and Sally Field will all appear with the iconic interviewer on a special 90-minute episode of the show. ABC’s recently cancelled Private Practice, which is finishing up its final season, hit an all time low in the ratings on Tuesday with just 3.7 million viewers. FOX’s Ben and Kate also took a major hit, tying for last place among all of Tuesday’s sitcoms and falling 21 percent. Meanwhile, The CW’s Hart of Dixie and Emily Owens both saw increases in their respective audiences. Hart of Dixie had its largest audience in nearly a year with 1.7 million viewers. [TVLine]

The stars will be out for the lighting of America’s most beloved Christmas Tree. Trace Adkins, Mariah Carey, Cee Lo Green, Victoria Justice, Chris Mann, Rod Stewart and Il Volo will perform on the show. Billy Crystal and Bette Milder will both make special appearances.
