The Dancing With the Stars beauty is working on a book about what has — and hasn’t — worked for her in the romance department, Celebuzz has learned exclusively. And she’s hoping the tome will help other women in their search to find The One.
“She wants to help women change their relationship futures,” said an insider, who revealed that Smirnoff is writing the book with a close girlfriend and shopping it to publishers soon. “It’s been therapeutic and inspiring for her.”
“She wants to touch on her failures in love, but also how she’s become a better person and what she’s looking for in the next guy. It focuses on finding the right guy and how to stop making the same mistakes over and over again.”
Smirnoff is certainly no stranger to lost love. The 35-year-old split from EXTRA host Mario Lopez in 2008 after two years of dating, was engaged to fellow Dancing With the Stars hoofer Maksim Chmerkovskiy in 2010 and saw an engagement to baseball pro Brad Penny end in 2011.
But the aforementioned men shouldn’t worry — Smirnoff doesn’t kiss and tell.
“She’ll elude to past relationships and certain experiences,” said the insider, “but she’s not going to be name anyone publicly.”
