Beyonce strikes a pose in H&M’s new summer campaign, flaunting her fit and fabulous bikini body in the brand’s hottest swimsuit styles.
Shot by Inez van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin, the sexy adverts will be bill as “Beyonce as Mrs. Carter in H&M” — which is appropriate as her new tour, The Mrs. Carter Show, kicks off this Monday.
Aside from being the face for the fashion label, the 31-year-old is also one of the creative forces behind the season’s new line of swimwear.
“In the campaign, Beyoncé is wearing the key pieces from H&M you need for life in the sun this summer,” Ann-Sofie Johansson, the Head of Design for H&M, says. “What makes these pieces even more special is that Beyoncé herself had input into the design, and they are full of her own personal style.”
According to Mrs. Jay-Z, she had a blast contributing her thoughts into the design process.
“I’ve always liked H&M’s focus on fun and affordable fashion,” she has saidin the past. “I really loved the concept we collaborated on to explore the different emotions of women represented by the four elements – fire, water, earth and wind.”
She adds of the shoot, “It was a beautiful shoot on a tropical island. It felt more like making a video than a commercial.”
As the spokesperson for Pepsi, Queen Bey recently also unveiled a new commercial featuring her new track, “Grown Woman.” So yeah, you could say that this girl definitely rules the world.
