Watch Out, Channing Tatum — This ‘Jersey Shore’ Star’s Got The Acting Bug

at 11:00 am | By

Ronnie Ortiz-Magro wants to swap the small screen for the silver one.

And he’s got his sights set on more Magic Mike and less Jersey Shore.

Because the popular reality star has been bitten hard by the acting bug and he’s out to steal Channing Tatum‘s acting thunder.

“I take acting classes — I go to the same school as Channing Tatum used to go to,” Magro told Celebuzz“And I was hanging out with Jamie Foxx recently for a movie promo.”

Magro is determined to hone his talent in class after he made a cameo appearance in The Three Stooges — and he’s learning the same skills that propelled Tatum to superstar hunk status.

And despite his party animal notoriety, his fellow students have been “filling him up with positive energy.”

Meanwhile, back in the real world, he tells CB! things are still going strong with his Shore co-star and girlfriend Sammi ‘Sweetheart’ Giancola.

The on-off couple has actually been living together in NYC for the past eight months — and getting used to the off-camera relationship.

But is Magro ready to take the leap like his co-stars Jenni “JWoww” Farley and Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi and thinking about finally putting a ring on it? Is it yes, maybe or fuhgeddaboudit?!

To find out his answer and more about Magro’s acting aspirations and living with Sammi after the Jersey Shore cameras have stopped rolling, click on our exclusive video interview above.
