The original four will be calling the shots this fall as The Voice kicks off its fifth season.

On Friday, NBC confirmed what we already know: Christina Aguilera and Cee Lo Green will be reclaiming their chairs, once again joining Adam Levine and Blake Shelton.

“They’re the reason this show was launched so strong for the first three cycles and we owe them a debt of gratitude,” Paul Telegdy, President of Alternative and Late Night Programming for NBC Entertainment said in a statement.

Telegdy also confirmed that The Voice newbies Shakira and Usher will return to the show for season six, set to premiere after the Winter Olympics in Sochi in 2014.

Added NBC Entertainment Chairman Robert Greenblatt: “We’re very fortunate to have these six incredible artists to weave in and out of the show as their performing and recording schedules permit.”

Aguilera announced her departure from the show in September 2012 to focus on her new album Lotus.

“I’m taking a little break and going out on the road for a minute and getting back to me as an artist,” she said on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno at the time.

Meanwhile, Green is gearing up for the release of his fourth studio album, Girl Power.
