At long last, Katy Perry is Vogue-ing.
After many pop anthems, chart-topping albums, sold-out tours, and of course a few latex frocks, the Grammy-nominated singer has proven her star prowess. Now that’s landed her on the July cover of the world’s foremost fashion bible, Vogue.
Through the lens of famed shutterbug Annie Leibovitz, Perry is stripped of her saccharine-pop image to reveal a refined, romantic look. She effuses ethereal beauty in a red, white and blue floral appliquéd Rodarte dress — fitting for a July issue — with her raven hair blowing behind her porcelain face.
The cover comes after Perry popped up on Vogue.com twice this year, first sharing her personal Inauguration photo diary and then featured in a Coachella fashion roundup. For Perry’s full cover story and spread, click back to Vogue.com on Tuesday, June 18.
