Yesterday, Prince William and Prince Harry took part in a charity match at Beaufort Polo Club, run by their friends the Tomlinsons.
The boys, who have played at Beaufort since they were little, mingled with old friends while they changed out of their polo gear. At one point, Harry and William bent down to speak to a few toddlers (who looked friggin’ adorable in quilted vests).
William will be a father in four weeks’ time; Kate is said to be due mid-July.
Today, the princes’ grandfather was discharged from the London Clinic, after having abdominal surgery a few weeks ago. William and Harry visited the Duke of Edinburgh during his hospital stay last Friday. Doctors have instructed the Duke to rest over the next two months, which means he was absent from today’s Order of the Garter service at Windsor Castle. His wife, the Queen, was instead flanked by Prince Charles and William at the historical event, held every year since 1348.
Harry (and possibly Will and Kate) will be at this weekend’s wedding of Lady Melissa Percy and Thomas van Straubenzee. Melissa’s brother, George is a good friend of Pippa Middleton‘s, and Thomas went to school with both Harry and William.
