Be Still Our ’90s Hearts: Jesse And The Rippers To Perform On ‘Fallon’

It’s the musical reunion we’ve been waiting for…¬†forever.

Jesse and the Rippers, Jesse Katsopolis’ (John Stamos) bitchin’ Full House band, will reunite to perform on Late Night With Jimmy Fallon, People reports. The magic all happens this Friday, July 19th.

On Monday John Stamos posted the Instagram video, below, of him singing the Full House theme song. A little taste of what’s to come, perhaps? “never thought I’d be singing THIS song,” he wrote.

Here are some facts about the “Rippers” for you novices out there:

-They had a tambourine player (sometimes two?), knew The Beach Boys really well, and they often wasted their practice time by allowing Michelle to sing with them.

-Unfortunately, Jesse was once kicked out of the band, which lead him to start his own group, Hot Daddy and the Monkey Puppets.

-They performed one of the greatest love songs of all time. See below:

Have mercy.
