Obama Takes a Selfie at Nelson Mandela’s Memorial

Today, the great and the good gathered at FNB Stadium in Johannesburg, South Africa for Nelson Mandela’s memorial service.  Bill Clinton was there, joined by Hillary and their daughter, Chelsea, as was George W. Bush, Tony Blair, Raul Castro Ruz, Crown Princess Victoria, Queen Rania of Jordan and Gordon Brown.

While waiting for the service to begin, President Barack Obama joined in on a “selfie” with UK Prime Minister David Cameron and Danish PM Helle Thorning-Schmidt, according to the Associated Foreign Press.

Meanwhile, First Lady Michelle Obama carried on being elegant and stately.

President Obama spoke during the memorial, telling thousands of mourners in the stadium that “we will never see the likes of Nelson Mandela again,” according to CNN.
