The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame has announced its 2014 inductees, the list includes Nirvana, KISS and the E Street Band. Cat Stevens, Linda Ronstadt, Peter Gabriel, Hall and Oates, Rolling Stones manager Andrew Loog Oldham and Beatles manager Brian Epstein will also be honored at a ceremony on April 10.
This was the first year that Nirvana was eligible and it’s no surprise that they made the cut; Kiss has been eligible for more than a decade. Although Bruce Springsteen was inducted in 1999, his E Street Band was not included. Ronstadt, aside from members of the E Street Band, is the only female who’ll be honored next year.
Artists like LL Cool J, N.W.A, Chic and The Zombies were also eligible, but did not make the cut.
The inductees will be honored at a ceremony at the Barclays Center in New York on April 10.
