Mindy, who is one of the genius scribes behind as many as 22 episodes of the American version of The Office, and is the creator of her own sitcom, in which she also stars, is shown from the chest up while the other three women chosen (Allison Williams, Amy Poehler, Zooey Deschanel) were given covers that show their torsos. Mindy, a self-proclaimed size-8, might not have been considered worthy of a body shot. Here are all four covers:
It could simply be a coincidence, but Elle also recently came under fire for “hiding” Melissa McCarthy‘s plus–size figure in an oversized coat.
