If you were wondering what in the heck will Oscar-nominated actor Bradley Cooper do next, wonder no more. The American Hustle actor will star in American Blood as a undercover NYPD police officer turned mob informant, Deadline reports.

Cooper’s production company 22 & Indiana Pictures will produce the crime drama about Marshall Grade, an undercover cop who becomes a mob informant and enters the witness protection agency. Grade gets pulled back into the force to investigate the disappearance of a local woman while living in New Mexico. The film is based on the novels of New Zealand author Ben Sanders.

The very busy Cooper has appeared in seven films in the last two years (!), and has at least three more movies coming out this year, including Serena with his perpetual co-star Jennifer Lawrence. He will also star in the Clint Eastwood-directed American Sniper, about Navy SEAL Chris Kyle who was shot and killed by fellow veteran Marine Eddie Ray Routh in Texas last year.
