‘Teen Mom’ Amber Portwood’s Words of Wisdom for Farrah Abraham and Jenelle Evans

The irony just keeps overflowing when recent jailbird Amber Portwood makes headlines for offering advice to her fellow trainwreck co-stars Farrah Abraham and Jenelle Evans.

In not-so-surprising news, Amber, who spent the last 17 months behind bars stemming from a 2011 drug arrest, admits she didn’t get along with Farrah.

“We hated each other for a long time. We both at the time had some huge attitudes,” she told In Touch.

“Behind the scenes, at the reunions, there were several incidents where things got heated. Nobody was backing down,” she added.

But she’d like their feud to turn into the kind of friendship where their kids can have play dates and braid each other’s hair, while the moms gossip, shop and talk about being perpetually unemployed.

“I’d love to give Farrah a hug now. I would like to reconnect now that we’ve both grown up,” she said.

We know after a year and a half in the slammer Amber has been cut off from the rest of the reality world, so we’ll give her the benefit of the doubt. But turning over a new leaf away from the MTV cameras for Farrah has meant leaking… we mean, releasing… two sex tapes, and allowing a camera crew to film her vagina. No, not to capture her giving birth on Teen Mom, but those that got all the behind the scenes magic of her sex toy line.

As for Jenelle, who’s preggo with baby No. 2 and who may or may not still be using heroin, Amber’s got harsher words.

“Jenelle hasn’t hit rock bottom yet. But if her rock bottom is lower than mine, that makes me scared for her,” Amber told the mag.

The 22-year-old has been thrown in the pokey a whopping 10 times since 2010 for a litany of offenses like drug possession, cyberstalking, parole violation, harassment, and assault.

She also lost custody of her 2-year-old son, Jace, but is preggo with her current boyfriend’s kid even though she still legally married to another guy.

Shall we go on?

“It’s not like you can wake up one day and he like, ‘Hey, I’m clean,’” Amber opined.

“It’s irresponsible and immature. You have one child you need to think about before you have another.

“She went down the exact same path I did: unplanned pregnancy, addiction and bad relationships, having custody taken away. But it’s never too late for Jenelle to turn her life around,” she added.

During her days as a reality star, Amber was in an out of jail and instead of rehab she chose to spend five years in prison, where the new college student overcame drug addiction and anger issues.

So, she’s saying, there is hope for Jenelle yet.

“As scary as it seems, it [jail] would change her life for the better,” Amber said of Jenelle.

“There’s a lot she hasn’t learned yet, but she’ going to learn it the hard way, just like I did.”
