But his brother Prince William, the Duke of Cambridge, has been responsibly sipping on his fair share of drinks in recent years.
On Monday, the 31-year-old was spotted with a generous shot of rum as he paid a visit to a submarine museum in England.
According to a museum marketing manager at the Royal Navy Submarine Museum in Gosport, Hampshire, William “really enjoyed it, he seemed to be happy to have his rum, it put a smile on his face.” [via the BBC]
And for the record, the drink was not watered down.
“His was neat, I didn’t put any water in it which is right for his rank. I didn’t measure it but he definitely had a good gulp,” the manager said.
PrinceGeorge‘s dad , who has been Commodore-in-Chief of the Royal Navy Submarine Service since 2006, was on hand to rededicate World War II vessel the HMS Alliance.
